Natural Witree is a Hong Kong brand that has continually featuring sustainable and affordable handmade fashion accessories. Our quality designs are handmade in the form of choker, bracelets, and earrings. We will be launching our first collection in June 2018, a line of accessories using materials of natural corkwood with iron and 925 silver.
Natural Witree implies "Natural Witchery" and “Tree," we believe in the natural ability of human and the power of nature. We aim to create a better future for our next generation and to pay more attention on sustainable products. We designed a philosophy theory are to implement the “4Rs” into the “Guilt-Free consumption” theory, a clear guideline for people to understand us.

Philosophy
Guilt - Free Consumption
To create a better future for our next generation, and starting to produce sustainable products. Natural Witree design four keywords - Reuse, Recycle, Respect and Replace. They are the support of “Guilt-Free consumption.”

Reuse – Collecting fabrics and rags to create a new design, extend the fabric ’s life cycle.

Recycle – Using recycled fabrics and materials to create a new product, as unwearable textiles.

Respect – By respecting the environment and working with nature, we keep on using sustainable materials. By respecting the animals, we never use fur or leather in our design. By respecting human, we enjoy our work, never giving pressure to our production chain.

Replace – Using eco-fabrics replace fabric that difficult to break down such as Tyvek, TPU, and organic cotton to accelerate the decomposition.
Instead of spending time finding who’s responsible is a waste of time, we should be paying more attention to look for the most effective way to save us. We already know how are humans affecting the environment and we have to eliminate the damage i other to extend the life of Earth. So come with us and build our glorious future together.

為了讓下一代生活在更美好的環境，我們致力推廣及生產可持續飾品。Natural Witree設計了四個關鍵詞，支撐著我們的「無罪惡感消費」哲學，分別是：重用、回收、尊重、替代。

重用 – 收集織品和布後，重新設計新的飾品，延長織品和碎布的生命週期。

尊重 – 尊重環境，和與自然合作並建立良好的關係；尊重動物，我們的設計不使用毛皮或皮革，製作飾品不需要傷害動物；尊重人類，舒適的工作環境及節奏，絕不對生產鏈施加壓力。

替代 – 使用創新科技面料，例如：Tyvek（可回收）、TPU（分解速度比較快） 和有機棉（天然、無化學染料）等，加速生態分解。
與其浪費時間追究責任，不如珍惜時間，建立我們的環保時代，「心動不如行動，想到不如做到。」
Our Mission in Action
To redefine the image of the fashion industry is not only create and dispose of, we work hard on creativity in environmental protection, not just being charming but also follow the fads and trend. Natural Witree advocates a positive attitude towards sustainable design, producing process without science and technology, in the meantime using different ways of environment-friendly.
During the production process, designers using different ways to act with our aim. For example, fabric zero waste cutting as the name suggests is reducing waste, we never crop curve and utilizing every part of the fabric. Selecting eco-fabric (Tyvek) and natural dyes, against the use of chemical machining. Using TPU and Faux leather to replace PVC and Fur .
時裝及紡織界是全球第二大污染產業，我們希望重新定義時尚產業形象，不再是設計生產，然後棄置。Natural Witree 積極主動接觸環保及可持續理念，致力於創新的環保，讓環保變得有趣又實用，研究如何跟隨潮流趨勢下，生產及產品對環境最少傷害。設計師用不同方式來實現我們的目標，如：織物零廢料切割、選擇生態織物 (Tyvek) 和天然染料，反對使用化學加工。使用TPU和人造皮取代PVC和毛皮。

What is Tyvek? How sustainable is?
Tyvek is a non-woven fiber. Its properties are lightweight, class 1 flammability rating and tear resistance from DuPont. They recommend us to use starch, dextrin, casein as the best for bonding. As Tyvek can be a wash and recycle and seems like a paper, it can be written and printed on, but it is plastic. It cannot be recovered with paper but can be collected with plastic bottles.
What is TPU? How sustainable is?
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is any of a class of polyurethane plastics with many properties, including high elasticity, high transparency, and resistance to oil, grease, low-temperature performance, high shear strength, and high abrasion. During the fashion trend of plastic(PVC), TPU is a great material to replace PVC.
What is Biodegradation?
The United States Environmental Protection Agency defines biodegradation as, “A process by which microbial organisms transform or alter the structure of chemicals introduced into the environment.”
What makes Biodegradation important?
Biodegradation is nature’s waste management and recycling system. It breaks down everything from yard waste to crude oil. It is a natural process necessary to keep our planet clean and healthy.
